The story of two brothers who superficially seem at different ends of the life spectrum, but “where the truth lies” reveals that they’re both closer to each other than they realize. It’s a song about trying to be there for your friend and keep your own head above water as well. It’s a song that was birthed into this world because a friendship refused to die. It’s a song that screams “You do get to choose your family”. The roads traveled through this friendship wind and bend just as referenced in the lyrics. Just like most carriers do on rocky rough terrain, we did break down for a while. But the roads were eventually repaved. Broken became strong and time a fate brought us back to this place where we will always be heard playing our song. It sounds like this…
